Genealogical research is a continuing challenge that is never finished. For those who re-visit this website occasionally, here is a list of significant additions and modifications made since January 2006:

To preserve our family tree for posterity, it has now been fundamentally integrated within the world-wide Family Search organization's 'Family Tree', maintained by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ('LDS' or 'Mormon' Church). For the past seven years, this impressive Family Tree has been combining individually-created trees like this one into a worldwide 'wikitree' that has, astoundingly, accumulated over a billion ancestral names. Our own integration effort has required the resolution of some conflicts, when our entries have been compared with those submitted by others. Surprisingly, conflicts have been few and easily resolved. They have mostly involved differing spellings, dates and places, rather than incompatible relationships. Surprisingly also, the first six 'personal' generations of our tree, with few exceptions, had already been entered into the wikitree. This was evidently the result of various people, possibly including Family Search administrators themselves, making entries that originated here (judging from giveaway forms of detail), where our tree has been available on the net for nearly two decades. For the past few years, with the parents of only one ancestor born after 1800 remaining to be found (Rebecca Ann Chew of the Ogden Branch), research for this tree has focused primarily on providing genetic evidence that the individuals included in it were indeed our biological ancestors. Comparative autosomal DNA testing, which is practical for the past 2-3 centuries, and comparative Y-Chromosome DNA testing, which is valid to antiquity (but limited here to the Acree paternal line), currently support the inclusion of numereous individuals in our tree. They are highlighted within its eight pedigrees:
